Well folks, it appears that Main Street USA has become Ground Zero for a horrific/terrible/nasty case of the gastrointestinal illness/stomach bug/flu. It all started last week/yesterday/over the weekend when a bunch of tourists/locals/the town's mayor came down with severe vomiting and diarrhea/nausea and abdominal cramps/intense stomach aches. We'd booked/reserved/arranged everything, from the flights/hotel/park tickets to the souvenirs/character meals/shows. We were so excited! Unfortunately, our trip/adventure/magical vacation was completely/totally/utterly ruined by a nasty stomach bug/virus/intestinal flu.
It all started on our first/second/third day. My child/husband/myself woke up feeling sick/nauseous/terrible. Then, the rest/other members/next person of our family/group/trip fell ill/sicker/down one by one. We spent most of our vacation stuck in the hotel room/at the resort/confined to bed, suffering from/fighting off/dealing with terrible cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea/stomach aches, fever, and chills.
